ABS cannot exist without you, our talented members. We have a 10 person board that plans during the summer, and before and after each meeting. We want to make the Alaska Bead Society an open space for ideas, challenges, and enjoyment of beads. Please consider volunteering for a board seat or contribute to any of the categories listed below.

Event CommitteeJoin our Event Committee! This committee brainstorms ideas for special events held outside of monthly meetings. This includes facilitating our fall sales event, coordination of any workshop, and participation at community events.

ideasOur Program Director has a tough job of planning our program (activities, presentations, etc.). We are always looking for fresh ideas related to bead activities, presentations, workshops, demonstrations, and field trips.
